It’s been 4 generations that our family products wine in the region of Mâcon at Château de la Greffière. With our experience, each year we product wines with a singular differents aromas and an rich expression.
The vineyard is located in La Roche Vineuse in the region of Macon, in south of Burgundy. This hilly landscape offers different appellations like “Aligoté” or “Mâcon La Roche Vineuse”. We work 4 grapes varieties of Burgundy : “Chardonnay, Aligoté” for white wines and ” Pinot Noir, Gamay” for red wines. This is not a coincidence if those wines are here, they have been chosen for the elaboration of a quality wine in our precious local soil. As we can see with the differents A.O.C (Registered designation of origin) of this region, each grapes varieties develop their caracteristics and they offer differents and elegant wines. Thanks to this special geographic situation, we can propose you 8 appellations from our vineyard.
